How to Fix Font & Icon Import Issues in Kustom. I often see people struggling with fonts not displaying correctly (like in the image below). Usually, it’s not the font's fault it’s the built-in Android file picker failing to copy the data properly. Here is my recommended workflow to fix this:The default system picker often "corrupts" the file during import. I highly recommend using a file manager like Solid Explorer. If your font looks like a mess of symbols or won't load:Go to your KUSTOM/fonts folder and delete the problematic file.Use Solid Explorer or your file manager to manually copy/paste the font file directly into the KUSTOM/fonts directory. The same applies to icons. Remember:Both the JSON and TTF files must have the exact same name.Manually move them to the KUSTOM/icons folder. After moving the files, close the Kustom app and clear the app cache. Your fonts and icons should now work perfectly.
Avoiding 0 Byte" FilesOne of the most annoying bugs with the built-in picker is that it can accidentally wipe a .kwgt or .klwp file, turning it into a 0 byte empty file.To avoid this, use Solid Explorer to find your preset, select "Open with...", and choose Kustom. The app will import it safely into its internal directory without losing any data.Hope this saves you some nerves!
